Merchandising assistant Jobs in Kansas City, MO

Job Description

This position handles customer support for a Merchandising desk, providing supervision, leadership and guidance for the Merchandising Administration department of the regional Kansas City, MO office of a global merchandiser and processor of agricultural goods.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• In addition to and completion of all present duties as MA
• Performs customer service duties for the Merchandising desk customers
• Assists Merchandiser Assistants with issues involving customers and merchandisers
• Leads a team of Merchandising Assistants
• Establishes and oversees best practices for ordering of logo branded merchandise for all grain & oilseed industrial assets and reporting locations
• Resolves issues and identifies opportunities for process improvement in trade settlements and execution.
• Completes supervisory duties, review and approval of time worked, Performance review process etc… in a timely and efficient manner.
• Reviews and approves invoices for barge demurrage, shifting, etc..
• Collaboratively reviews and processes barge claims to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
