Job description

Simkhai is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Merchandising Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all products are uploaded accurately, presented along brand guidelines and optimized to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. This role will also play a key role in product sample management for ecommerce needs and partner with website development team. This person must have obsessive attention to detail and be excited to have their hands in many parts of the business.

Responsibilities

Own the product upload process for the website, including gathering all product information and copy, SEO copy, exporting information from PLM system and uploading onto Shopify
Ensure product descriptions, images and specifications are consistent with brand guidelines and optimized for search and product discovery
Organizing and categorize products appropriately on the website using relevant tags and categories to improve visibility
Partner with DTC Merchandiser for online product curation strategy and ensuring products are merchandised effectively for cross-sells, upsells and complete looks
Oversee and enhance site search optimization to improve product discoverability and conversion rates
Partner with cross functional partners for site needs including but not limited to Digital Marketing, Email, Brand, etc to ensure appropriate merchandising is executed
Organize and manage product samples for all e-commerce photoshoots
Attend product photo shoots and oversee shot list to ensure all necessary content is captured for the website
Building out PDPs for DTC (web / retail / POS)
Execute product uploads for online dropship partners
Execute seasonal markdowns
Upload and maintain pricing for international partners
Attend and monitor weekly development progress updates
Track and share weekly reports on product performance, category performance, and site search metrics.
Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive activity

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a four year university

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in E-Commerce

Must have demonstrated experience with Shopify, Apparel Magic, Google Analytics

Must have demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Formulas) and Google Sheets

Must have strong organization skills, including project and time management

Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have strong attention to detail

Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
