Position Details
This position requires working on-site in San Francisco once per week.
Role Overview
The full-stack Application Developer applies seasoned software development skills to medium-sized projects or parts of large projects with moderate scope and complexity. The role involves resolving a wide range of issues and selecting appropriate tools, methods, and techniques to achieve results.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain secure and scalable web applications supporting critical business functions in Anesthesia.
- Engage in back-end development, including infrastructure management, integrations, automation, and database administration.
- Develop front-end interfaces focusing on modern, intuitive user experiences.
- Utilize technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, Python, and Bash.
- Integrate across REST APIs, ODBC data sources, and visualization platforms.
- Manage AWS environments, servers, and oversee database administration for PostgreSQL and SQL Server, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across education, research, clinical operations, and administration to align applications with business needs.
- Participate in all phases of the software and infrastructure lifecycle, including security, automation, versioning, quality assurance, documentation, and maintenance.
Additional Information
The final salary and benefits are subject to UC policy and internal equity considerations. The salary range is $110,000 - $150,000 annually. For more details on UCSF benefits,
