Selectek is looking for a Senior Network Engineer .

Required :

Architect, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise class wired and wireless networks.
Consults with customers in pre-sales solutions engineering role.
Escalation support for Network Technicians
Help Desk Support
5+ years of experience
CCNA or CWNA certification a plus
Experience with Ruckus Wireless equipment in a production enterprise environment
Excellent customer service and written / verbal communication skills

Preferred :

Strong Layer 2 / 3 understanding

Strong IPv4 skills including subnetting.

Strong 802.11 WiFi and RF fundamentals

Network services such as NTP, DNS, DHCP, etc

Experience with low latency applications such as voice and video

Strong IPv6 skills

Experience with Brocade ICX Series switches in a production enterprise environment

Experience with industry standard wired and wireless solutions from Cisco, HP (Aruba), etc.

Experience with monitoring platforms that use SNMP, syslog, OpenFlow, S-Flow, etc.

They would like to find candidates who have a good grasp on fundamentals of Layer 2 Switching and Layer 2 Routing. They would like to see candidates with experience in Access Point and switches.

Sponsorship : no

Pay range : $35 / hour - $48 / hour

Term of assignment : 6 month temp to perm

Pay method when direct : $75,000 -$100,000 annual salary plus bonuses

Location of job : Atlanta, Tucson, or Omaha

Hours and shift : 8AM - 5PM

Work from home : no

Working remote : no

Travel : yes, about 25%

Overtime expected : Yes; some weekend work

Work attire : Business Casual
