Job descriptionHolds a current, unrestricted Virginia license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) holds multistate licensure privilege. Job Description : NOVA Workforce Division is seeking a Nurse Aide Instructor to teach at ALL three Nurse Aide locations (Reston, Woodbridge and Alexandria) Lab and Clinical. (This is not an online teaching position).
Must reside in the (DC, VA, MD) DMV area.
Duties and Tasks :
- Instructor will use the State of Virginia Board of Nursing curriculum to prepare nurse aide students to successfully complete the nurse aide certification exam.
Essential Functions :
As a part of the primary responsibility to provide quality instruction, the College expects each faculty member to meet assigned classes regularly; submit required records and reports routinely; teach the prescribed courses of study with the established texts; and adhere to the statement on professional ethics in accordance with college policies, procedures, and regulations.
