Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care. As the DON, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our services, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, and promoting the professional development of our nursing staff.
Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the nursing team, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in home health care.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality and outcomes, implementing performance improvement initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff, management team, and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in home health care and nursing practice, leading initiatives to enhance clinical excellence and innovation.
