McLeod Health is seeking a Board Certified Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon to join an established and growing practice on the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Experience preferred...seeking someone interested in general and sports with a growing program in one of the fastest growing counties in the country!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Established & growing sports program!

• 1 Sports Surgeon, 2 non-operative sports physicians, and 1 Sports APP.

• Orthopedics include 3 joint surgeons, 1 foot & ankle, 1 upper, 1 spine and a large team of Advanced Practice Providers.

• Practice and OR time! Growing ORs and freestanding surgical center access!

• ED call rotates amongst the Surgeons.

• Team of 9 Advanced Practice Providers assist in inpatient call rotation.

• Affiliated with local high schools and colleges.

• General Ortho required.

• Experienced preferred — will accept new graduates.

McLeod Health Seacoast has more than 200 physicians on the active medical staff, which represents more than 32 medical specialties. McLeod Health Loris, a not-for-profit 50-bed hospital, specializes in general surgery, women's services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and physical/occupational/speech therapies. We also have a new & expanding Dialysis Access Center.

Carolina Forest will ensure a continuation of the highest quality care, access to the best physicians, increased specialty services, and investments in technology. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will be home to a seven-building campus offering a variety of services. In addition, a $56 million, four-story state-of-the-art facility is expected to offer 48 beds, ensuring that all patients have access to immediate care. Expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening date of 2026.
