Job Summary :
The Packaging Engineer will create innovative, effective packaging solutions for pharmaceutical-grade cosmetic products. You'll lead packaging design, development, and documentation to ensure product integrity, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility with manufacturing processes.
Job Duties :
Develop and update packaging documentation (BOMs, specs, assembly instructions).
Create and execute testing protocols for packaging performance and shipping.
Assess materials and implement improved testing methods.
Research new tech to enhance packaging efficiency and quality.
Coordinate plant trials and summarize outcomes for packaging decisions.
Support artwork approval and align labeling with regulations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s in Packaging Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of packaging design experience; cosmetics / consumer goods a plus.
Knowledge of packaging tests, materials, and manufacturing methods.
Proficiency with 2D drawings, problem-solving, and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience in cosmetics packaging design is highly preferred.
