This is a PRN Position
vAcute is a 24x7 virtual acute care department. The team is comprised of navigators, RNs, Advanced Practice clinicians and a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. This collaborative group works to take care of patients, who are outside of the hospital setting, in the moment or helps direct the patient to the most appropriate level of care. Through many different access points, patients are able to reach the team 24x7x365 to help with medical issues in real time. The vAcute team works collaboratively with the patient’s Primary care physician and specialists to optimize the patient experience, increase communication, and ensure the patient receives care in the most appropriate setting. Through the use of technology, such as on demand video visits and triage tools, the team is able to reach patients when their need for care arises.
Mobile Virtual Proc Provider Overview :
- Responsible for providing skilled clinical services to patients in their homes under the direction of a physician.
- Will assist virtual provider via telemedicine and peripheral device equipment and document procedures completed.
- Must have the ability to execute procedures such as initiating intravenous access independently.
Qualifications :
Education : Completion of state education requirements for either a Paramedic or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Licensure : Active state license as a Paramedic or Licensed Practical Nurse. Valid driver’s license.
Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience in acute healthcare setting. Strong clinical / procedural skills required.
Certifications : BLS, ACLS
