Key Responsibilities Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients Document account actions and maintain productivity and quality standards Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays to management as necessary Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred 1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various system applications Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm Intermediate understanding of commercial and government payor processes
