Job description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. This position will mostly focus on payroll in high volume. The ideal candidate will have a strong payroll background including reviewing timesheets for missed punches, processing payroll and answering employees payroll questions. This position will be starting contract but has the potential to turn permanent based on performance.
Responsibilities :
Process biweekly payroll
Review timesheets for missing punches and getting corrected before processing
Handling payroll taxes including updating tax information
Qualifications :
At least 2 years of high volume payroll experience
Multi-state payroll experience
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Very comfortable with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel
Pay Details : $ to $ per hour
