Position Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across multiple business entities with nine-figure combined revenue. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing timecard data, handling paid time off (PTO) tracking, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. You will collaborate closely with departments such as HR, Legal, and Finance, and report to an Accounting Manager dedicated to mentorship and your career growth. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Phoenix office.

What You'll Do

• Act as the subject matter expert for payroll, timecard, and PTO-related inquiries
• Audit payroll registers and PTO balances to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Compile and process payroll data, including hours worked and incentive plans
• Manage updates to employee payroll records (e.g., deductions, insurance, exemptions)
• Maintain payroll system accuracy in ADP and ensure all changes are properly authorized
• Generate payroll-related reports and process off-cycle payments as needed
• Collaborate with HR on payroll setup for new hires and employee changes
• Support payroll compliance and assist with audits or regulatory filings
