BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician  for an opportunity in Chandler, AZ !

Position Title : Engineering Technician.

Location : Chandler, AZ

Shift Hours : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Shift Days : Monday-Friday

Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Expected Duration : 6+ months

Job Type : FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE

Pay Range : [$ 35 / hr] – [$38 / hr]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description :

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum Educational Requirement : BS degree preferred, min AS degree.

Candidate must be willing to :

Education : Electrical or electronic technician with some SW expertise in Python or similar

• Experience : Test technician or Systems technician for processor systems or HW Validation technician.
• Familiar with board assy and rework process
• Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
• Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
• Perform initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced and fluid environment
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and driven. Some degree of judgement required in resolving nonstandard problems.
• Good communication skills and able to work within a diverse team
• Ability to assemble / rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with Windows OS, experience updating / configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog etc)
