Are proficient with Vue.js or similar frameworks. Are an expert in Bootstrap and Tailwind. Understand browser rendering, CSS performance, and responsive design. Use Git for version control and collaborate via pull requests. Youve got a background in graphic or visual design. Youve created custom themes or utility?first toolkits (e.g., Tailwind plugins). Youve contributed to open?source front?end projects. Youre familiar with church?management or CRM systems. Have an unusual interest in Rock lobsters. Job Description :
Since its release in 2014, Sparks initial project Rock RMS has been leading the innovation curve of the Church Management Space. Hundreds of ministries have been impacted by this open?source revolution. Its amazing what God has done, and we believe Hes just getting started.
This position is a key hire that will allow Spark to take Rock to the next level by owning and evolving our?end design system in code. Youll be part of the development team, responsible for maintaining reusable UI / CSS components, building new ones, and acting as the bridge between our designers and developers. Think of it as building something like Bootstrap, but for churches. Were looking for a detail?oriented, self?driven front?ender whos passionate about clean, scalable code and pixel?perfect UIs.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Maintaining, refactoring, and extending our design?system codebase to ensure consistency and performance using CSS and JavaScript.
- Developing new UI componentsstyled, documented, and testedfor use across Rock RMS.
- Collaborating closely with designers to translate mockups and style guides into production?ready code.
- Partnering with backend and full?stack developers to integrate components into the application.
- Writing clear documentation and usage examples for every component.
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring CSS / HTML / JS best practices and accessibility standards.
