Job descriptionKnowledge of blueprints and layout work. Ability to perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel material. Ability to purge weld stainless steel tubing to provide sanitary quality weld. Ability to perform MIG welding on a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel. 2 Years trades training and / or minimum one year of experience in an industrial environment. Knowledge of standard weld symbols, weld grinding and polishing techniques. Experience with thin sheet metal welding (16-gauge).

Responsibilities :
- Assists in the building of equipment and related components by safely and efficiently welding metal parts in a quality-conscious manner.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to properly and safely MIG weld ... - Inspects metal prior to welding for smoothness and acceptability and clean welds to a presentable state (grinding operations).
- Ensures welding machine settings are appropriate for work to be performed.
- Must be trained in and know PPE requirements for welding.
- Follow proper safety rules and procedures at all times.
Working hours : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
