Position Location : Fargo, ND
Position Status : Full Time / 1.0 FTE (40 hours / week)
The Family Services Office Assistant provides administrative support to team members in the Family Services Department, assists with front desk coverage, and completes transportation of children / clients as needed.
The Family Services Office Assistant provides administrative assistance to both internal team members and customer service to our community and clients.
Family Services Office Assistant - Example of Duties
- Schedule meetings
- Create and send invitations and letters in electronic and mail formats
- Generate and maintain email correspondence between family services team members, supervisors, clients and community partners
- Type and proofread court affidavits
- Distribute internal communication and processes from Zone Administration to team members
- Transport children and adults in County-issued or personal vehicle for visitation or appointments, utilizing proper child restraints as needed
- Maintain basic service and vehicle status reporting
- Provide front desk coverage, managing multi-line phone system, greeting clients, routing electronic and fax communication
Frequent travel across Cass County is required for this position. Some intrastate travel may be needed.
To succeed in this position , you should have strong computer skills and be very comfortable working with electronic files and communication. You will be comfortable working with clients and providing transportation to clients as needed.
An ideal candidate will be organized, able to be an independent worker and contribute as a positive team member and enthusiastic collaborator.
