Position Summary :
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Registries Data Analyst is to optimize and support workflows and processes related to the acquisition, management and reporting of data for the Clinical Registries Team. The Clinical Registries Data Analyst will gather requirements, analyze data, design and build dashboards, visualizations and databases, and provide support and training to end users. This will include integration of automated data abstraction solutions, including AI, and optimization of performance of BI solutions.
The ideal candidate is an IT professional with experience with EPIC and healthcare data analytics, management and reporting. Experience with clinical quality reporting and project management is a plus.
Work Performed
Level 1
- Individual contributor works under the direct supervision of level 3 or above and collaborates as a member of a team
- Basic understanding of local databases (Clarity; Caboodle) and underlying tables pertaining to role / domain
- Basic understanding of analytical / BI technologies and terminology related to role
- Data Gathering and Analysis : Basic proficiency in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support request
- Requirements Elicitation : Ability to gather and document business requirements from stakeholders for DWD / BI.
- Documentation : Capability to create and maintain documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs) and user manuals.
- Communication Skills : Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Problem-Solving : Aptitude for identifying and solving basic business problems through data analysis.
- Basic Data Visualization : Familiarity with basic data visualization tools and techniques for presenting data in simple charts or graphs.

Required Qualifications at this Level
Education / Training
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience required.

Level 2 - Two years of related experience is required.
