Job Title : Process Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to develop concepts, design hardware and systems, and coordinate purchasing, construction, implementation, testing, and verification of manufacturing processes. The role involves improving processes and introducing new technologies, ensuring maintenance activities, and adhering to company automation standards. The Process Engineer will work with customers and suppliers to support APQP, production, delivery, cost, and quality issues, while ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Specify and develop concepts, design hardware and systems.
- Coordinate purchasing, construction, implementation, testing, and verification of manufacturing processes.
- Improve processes and introduce new technologies.
- Perform maintenance activities for processes.
- Adhere to company automation standards.
- Utilize CAD / programming systems to develop designs.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to support APQP, production, delivery, cost, and quality issues.
- Work with all other functions in the business unit to ensure smooth, efficient, on-time start-up and operation of processes.
- Lead and train production and support employees to achieve desired performance levels.
- Identify and develop process improvements to support company goals.
- Develop and implement software and continuous improvement programs.
- Coordinate sub-contracting activities.
- Verify the effectiveness of applications.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Ensure 100% conformance to IMS Quality System in production operations.
- Lead APQP and problem-solving processes.
- Participate in TS16949.
- Strive to achieve all established company goals.
- Perform systems administration, as applicable.
- Be available on call when required.
- Perform related engineering duties as assigned.
