Senior Product Configuration Analyst

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Senior Product Configuration Analyst to join a diverse team. The ideal candidate will work independently to develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines. Responsibilities include ensuring configuration identification, providing project support in creating and reviewing contents of CDRL's, SDRL's, item records, change records and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, executing Configuration and Data Management processes and controls, and overseeing CM team members regarding solution design, process and / or approaches.
Basic Qualifications :
- 4 year degree in a relevant applicable field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience, or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of at least fifteen (15) years applicable experience
- Detailed knowledge of standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of technical domain
- Detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software and other CM practices
- Detailed knowledge and a minimum of five (5) years' experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
- Detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams and specifications
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft office products, Adobe PDF editing software, Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Qualifications :
Preference shown to candidates with experience and / or working knowledge with NDIA CDM, CMII or other Configuration Management / Data Management certification
