Salary Range : $85,000-$90,000 Per Year

JOB TITLE : Project Manager

SUMMARY : The Project Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of the project(s) to which he / she is assigned. A successful PM will identify and secure internal and external resources, interact with the client, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product as defined by DAWSON, clients and regulatory agencies. This is an onsite position based at EPA NVFEL Ann Arbor, MI.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Role requires PM to be full time onsite from 0700 - 1530
  • Capable of managing preventive maintenance schedule, corrective maintenance schedule, and the project budget while completing the contract within the projected Estimate to Completion (ETC)
  • Capable of developing a Task Order Estimates and assisting with the overall Project Budget
  • Ensures adherence to all safety and quality practices and procedures while performing or supervising the performance of tasks in all work areas
  • Responsible for coordination with the Government Safety Team and adherence to site safety requirements
  • Schedules, coordinates and supervises assigned project staff and subcontracted workers
  • Promptly notifies Corporate Management of all potential contract changes
  • Cultivates and maintains the necessary contacts with clients and regulatory agency personnel, including working with the COR on a regular basis to ensure the contract is running smoothly and to coordinate for upcoming projects
  • Trains, coaches, and mentors project staff
  • Performs employee evaluations
  • Maintains all current certificated and safety trainings relevant to each position on site
  • Must be able to commute to the site within 1 hour if emergencies arise
  • Provide the following monthly deliverables no later than the 3rd of each month.

closely track all reimbursable expenses and provide monthly invoice log

  • Provide PDF copy of reimbursable invoices
  • Review and update monthly cleaning report
  • Provide the preventive maintenance schedule of tasks completed each month
  • Provide monthly work request log
  • Track overtime and create a monthly report
  • Close adherence to all requirements listed in the Performance Work Statement
  • Complete training for use of onsite CMMS system, eMaint
  • Demonstrates fundamental understanding of government / partner / regulatory issues and business negotiations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist with entry and approve timecards for site personnel

  • Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include : Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be able to secure a government Personal Identity Verification card (PIV)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to solve complex situational problems.
  • Excellent analytical, statistical, and mathematical knowledge.
  • Excellent computer proficiency including Microsoft and Adobe products. Ability to quickly grasp new software.
  • Must be able to write and format reports and proposals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • At least five years' experience in Facility Management, Operations, or Maintenance work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Firm understanding of industry standard processes and best practices driving Facility Management and Maintenance work.
  • Ability to control and manage budgets and schedules. Able to make modifications to budget and schedules in the field and with short notice
  • Ability to delegate work and handle multiple projects
  • Ability to proactively create, control, modify and manage budgets and schedules
  • Ability to analyze and control project risks, both operationally and financially
