Must hold a Special Services Provider license from the Colorado Department of Education with a School Psychologist endorsement.
Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education preferred,
or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.

Understands that Special Education paperwork is an essential part of the position; organizes and completes paperwork on time and documents important events and contacts.
Demonstrates effective time management, including completion of assessments, evaluations, and special education paperwork.
Attends and / or facilitates student centered / parent friendly IEP meetings.
Works collaboratively with administration, school, and staff.
Provides professional staff development as needed.
Provides direct services to students and communicates effectively with parents.
Supports behavior interventions for students and provides staff with effective strategies and interventions as needed.
Understands and complies with all state and federal rules and regulations.
Must be flexible and or adaptable to changing needs of schools, students, and meeting schedules.
