Job Summary :

The Field Safety Officer plays a critical role in ensuring safe work practices as well as other compliance efforts are being achieved across our operating assets. As a member of the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) Team, this role focuses on identifying needs and requirements, developing plans to ensure compliance is achieved, and aids in providing insight into HSSE performance at a site level.

What You'll Do :

• Conduct field-based audits / assessments focused on HSSE elements
• Work with operations team to identify concerns and provide solutions
• Develop and maintain asset-level risk register
• Assist in (and in some cases lead) incident investigations and oversee the implementation of corrective measures
• Assist with training
• Provide guidance in terms of PPE selection and deployment
• Ensure overall compliance with PGR HSSE Managed System is being achieved at the asset level

Qualifications :

Years of experience are standardized by level and not [NOTE : This is an entry level position so less than 3 years is acceptable]

Strong organizational and communication skills

Familiar with OSHA 29CFR1910, 29CFR1926, NFPA 70E, IEEE1984 and other regulatory standards

Prior working experience with solar and BESS installations, ideally at utility scale

Additional Information :

Travel up to 75%
