Job Title : Quality Engineer

• Specifies / develops concepts, design hardware and systems, coordinates purchasing / construction, implementation, testing and verification of manufacturing processes, process improvements and / or new technologies.
• Specifies and performs maintenance activities for processes.
• Adheres to company automation standards.
• Can be either mechanical or electrical and uses CAD / programming systems to develop designs.
• Works with Customers and Suppliers as needed to support APQP, Production, Delivery, Cost and / or Quality issues.
• Works with all other functions in the BU to ensure the smooth efficient on-time start-up and operation of the process in his control.
• Leads and trains production and supports employees to achieve the level of performance needed.
• Responsible for identifying and developing improvements to the processes in support of the company goals.
• Develops and implements software and continuous improvement programs.
• Coordinates sub-contracting activity.
• Verifies effectiveness of applications.
• Ensures a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensures 100% conformance to IMS Quality System in production operations.
• Leads APQP and problem solving processes.
• Strives to achieve all established company goals.
• Systems administration, as applicable.
• On call when required.
• Performs related engineering duties as assigned.
