About Us
Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Through its brands, Vantage supplies almost all electro-mechanical devices used in contemporary elevators. Founded in 1927, the Vantage group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
GAL Manufacturing is looking to fill the position of Manufacturing Quality Inspector, who under the direction of the Manufacturing Senior Quality Engineer, will primarily be responsible for performing all Quality Control Inspection activities.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with :
- QC Technical experience preferable in metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, and electronic assembly.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an ISO 9001 : 2008 with an emphasis in metal fabrication, machining, electrical components, printed circuit board (PCB-PWB) assembly, and hardware assembly – automotive and / or aerospace experience a plus
- Familiarity with QMS
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere directly or indirectly with all employees
- Must have experience with inspection tools, gages & techniques - such as FAI, 1st Piece, Sample Planning, GD&T, No-Go Gages, Calipers, Micrometers, Measuring instruments, etc., CPK and Statistical Control Charting (SPC) a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Bilingual is a Plus
