Job description

The .NET Developer Teller Platform is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting teller workstation applications and branch banking solutions within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and high-performance applications that support day-to-day teller operations and financial transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain teller applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8, and related technologies.
  • Implement and support banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account inquiries, and balancing processes.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
  • Integrate teller platforms with core banking systems, payment gateways, and branch hardware devices (printers, scanners, cash recyclers, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards, including PCI-DSS, AML, and KYC requirements.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot critical issues, and support application deployments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and REST services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with retail banking, teller platforms, branch operations, or financial transaction processing systems.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, Temenos, Finastra, or other core banking systems.
  • Knowledge of microservices, Azure cloud technologies, and payment processing platforms.
  • Exposure to branch modernization and digital banking initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with experience in banking or financial services environments.
