The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a part-time Radiology Lab Assistant in the School of Health Sciences. The Lab Assistant oversees the Radiologic Technology lab,maintains equipment, facilitates instruction of techniques and skills withRadiologic Technology students to ensure proficiency per program andaccreditation standards.

Key responsibilities for this position include :

• Prepares and maintains course outlines and objectives, instructs and evaluates students, and reports on progress;
• Participates in the assessment process when appropriate;
• Collaborates with the Program Coordinator in periodic review and revision of course materials;
• Maintains appropriate expertise and competency through continued professional development;
• Knowledgeable of program goals;
• Provides students with radiographic procedure instruction and supervision;
• Evaluates students’ radiographic procedure competency;
• Maintains competency in the professional discipline and instructional and evaluative techniques through continuing professional development;
• Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress;
• Other related duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator or faculty.

Successful candidate must be available to work up to 29 hours per week. The work schedule for this position will be based on the needs of the department and the availability of the applicant.
