Essential Job Duties :
- Primary point of contact for all USPIS and OIG personnel for entering and clearing Warrants Articles, Securities, Vehicles, and any other pertinent data into the NCIC and NLETS databases.
- Proficiently read and interpret reports and communicates results with internal and external Law Enforcement personnel.
- Communicate directly with managers, coordinators, CCOS personnel, and US Postal Inspection Service personnel as needed.
- Enter, update, and retrieve information from a variety of computer systems including NLETS and NCIC.
- Read and interpret reports and communicate results with internal and external Law Enforcement personnel.
- Complete, review, and maintain Microsoft Office reports and spreadsheets.
- Work as Dispatcher, as needed.
- Must be a Dispatcher Level II (internal), or equivalent for a minimum of six months.
- Must possess a strong basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Must be able to communicate orally and in writing sufficient to obtain and disseminate clear, concise information.
- High school diploma or general education development diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) USPIS Clearance. Note : US Citizenship is required to obtain a MBI Clearance.
- Ability to write reports and document events in a concise and accurate manner, including proofreading for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English fluently.
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Participate in Amentum’s Fit for Duty program daily.
- Immediately report any injury or incident to a supervisor regardless of significance.
- Assess the work area daily for ergonomic or other hazards common to office work.
- Report to a supervisor any hazard that you are unable to eliminate or control.

This position regularly works in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting. This role may require extended periods of sitting and working on a computer. This role requires the ability to hear ordinary telephone and radio conversations with either ear. This role may move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.
