Production Lead
At Veritext, we focus on the details so legal teams can focus on the case. The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and long-term organization of the Records Room. This role processes third-party records and ensures timely fulfillment of client requests while also leading workflow improvements, maintaining storage systems, and driving overall efficiency for the production team. This position requires a highly organized professional who takes initiative, owns projects from start to finish, and is committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, compliant, and scalable records environment.
What you'll get to do :
- Understand company targets and strive to meet and exceed expectations
- Lead the daily operation of the Records Room, ensuring materials are processed, organized, stored, and retrieved efficiently
- Continuously improve the physical organization of the room, including shelving, labeling, indexing, and storage systems
- Assign and balance workloads within the processing team to meet company turnaround time goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations within the production area and ensure timely resolution
- Conduct regular audits of processed records for accuracy and quality
- Lead cleanup initiatives for backlog, misfiled materials, outdated storage, or incomplete / incorrect record sets
- Design and implement organizational projects that improve flow, efficiency, and compliance
- Monitor progress of room-wide projects and provide updates to management
- Ensure chain-of-custody procedures and confidentiality standards are followed
- Support adherence to retention, destruction, and storage policies for physical and electronic records
- Train new and current team members on record processing, organization standards, and technology tools
