As the Risk and Control Manager you will be responsible for the design and effectiveness of operational controls for Advisor compensation across all lines of business. You will mitigate risks associated with strategic initiative implementations and ensure controls are operating effectively through continuous monitoring. You will understand impacts of organizational and strategic changes to the Advisor compensation program, adjust compensation systems and processes and recommend actions to improve controls, enhance decision making, drive faster adoption and ensure ongoing alignment with guiding principles.
How you will create impact :
Collaborating with business partners and consulting on high-risk projects to assess impacts of strategic initiatives to identify risks, inform control development and minimize downstream impacts.
Developing impact assessments and risk management action plans, mitigating controls and ensuring accuracy and integrity of Advisor compensation.
Creating and maintaining documented data flows, evaluating the effectiveness of controls, assessing process limitations and impacts, and designing new controls to minimize risks.
Developing and managing a data validation and reconciliation governance program to identify data integrity issues, ensure controls are operating effectively and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
Participating in the annual compensation review process and managing validation of base and incentive rate tables, bonus and club calculations.

To join our team :
You have five years of experience in Auditing, Project Management or Information Technology.
You have a post-secondary degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related discipline.
You have a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) or a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or an equivalent certification.
You have or are working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Life Office Management Association (LOMA) designation(s).
You have strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, flowcharting, and auditing best practices, control frameworks and risk management techniques.
What’s in it for you?
Expected Salary Range : $90,000 - $120,000
