Safety supervisor Jobs in Los Angeles, CA

ECC is seeking candidates for a Quality Control Supervisor  position working on-site in Los Angeles, CA for the LA fires debris removal project. Qualified local candidates and candidates with significant fires debris removal, disaster recovery, environmental or civil project experience are encouraged to apply. The Quality Control Supervisor is full time and provides a full benefits package. This position requires working extended days (including Saturday and Sunday) and extended hours, as needed by the project. Additional compensation will be provided. The Quality Control Supervisor must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions in the field.  Project start date is immediate and the position is expected to last approximately 10 months . In this position you will :

• Take appropriate action to ensure that work is performed in accordance with the ECC Quality Control Program, the design, the contract specifications, pertinent building codes & practices as well as national and local standards
• Ensure implementation of the Three-Phase Control Process in accordance with Company standards and contract requirements
• Work to actively promote and support the safety program with subcontractors and project team members on a daily basis
• Ensure that required testing is conducted, evaluate test results, ensure results meet specifications, and document results
• Inspect and document the receipt of all materials to ensure compliance with contract documents
• Prepare and / or review of design and material submittals
• Complete quality related documentation (field reports, logs, and records) in a timely and accurate manner
• Investigate and recommend solutions to resolve environmental problems related to quality
• Ensure implementation, documentation and close-out of corrective actions
• Initiate stop work or re-work in coordination with the project team in circumstances with respect to work methodologies nonconformance
• In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.

ECC targeted salary range for US locations average is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. Additional compensation available for hours worked.

Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
