Litigation Secretary :

What You’ll Do :

  • Provide advanced administrative support to attorneys specializing in litigation, ensuring seamless management of legal processes and documentation.
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents with exceptional attention to detail and compliance with procedural rules.
  • File legal documents electronically in state and federal courts, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of filing requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, proactively seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Manage and organize legal correspondence, schedules, and case files to ensure efficient workflow and timely execution of tasks.

Who You Are :

  • An experienced legal professional with a minimum of 5 years (10+ years preferred) of recent litigation experience in a law firm environment.
  • Knowledgeable in collections, liens, and bonds; experience in governmental law is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), with familiarity in WordPerfect being a bonus.
  • A dedicated and organized individual who thrives in a professional and team-oriented setting.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
