About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP for its Medicare Line of Business, with a primary focus on driving strategic direction and sustainable membership growth across all regions and segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for a significant revenue stream, with duties encompassing market planning, regulatory management, sales and retention programs, and the development and execution of a robust model of care. This role requires a leader who can ensure the competitive positioning of products, benefits, and pricing, while also maintaining a strong focus on quality and regulatory compliance. The SVP will work closely with regional and executive leaders to assess market opportunities and challenges, and to develop and implement business plans that support the company's growth and market share objectives.
Essential responsibilities for the SVP include overall accountability for the Medicare LOB revenue, leading market scanning efforts, and providing strategic direction for Medicare offerings. The role demands a leader who can influence and participate in the development of Medicare policy, and who is adept at managing large, complex initiatives. The SVP will also be responsible for the direct and indirect leadership of Medicare employees and shared services organization team members, and must ensure the successful implementation of measurement systems to manage the business line's activities effectively. A key aspect of the position is the ability to drive value-based networks and efficient, high-quality performance, while also being accountable for the company's 5-Star quality performance in the Medicare market.
