Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager with 14 to 17 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic leadership key stakeholders management and portfolio & project management (PPM). The role requires domain expertise in claims and involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts. This position does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of services to ensure they meet the agreed standards and client expectations.
  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of projects within the claims domain.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams to ensure successful delivery of portfolio and project management (PPM) initiatives.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction with service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the claims domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery to ensure business continuity.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices and methodologies in project management and service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of service delivery initiatives.
  • Support the professional development of team members through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive experience in strategic leadership demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Should possess strong skills in key stakeholders management ensuring effective communication and relationship building.
  • Must have a proven track record in portfolio & project management (PPM) with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the claims domain is mandatory with a deep understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills are required to address challenges and drive successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site work as needed.
  • Must be able to work day shifts and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach is necessary to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • A commitment to professional development and continuous learning is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members to support their growth and development is highly desirable.
  • Certifications Required

    PMP (Project Management Professional) ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)

    Salary and Other Compensation :

    Applicants will be accepted till 3 / 13 / 2025

    The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $119K-$161K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
