During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.Position Purpose : Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business.Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunitiesApply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projectsResearch various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industryAttend training and development presentations to enhance professional competenciesAn Intern in this role can expect to : Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Meridian and YouthCare social media strategy, including platform management, administration, and governance. Plans and manages the social media components that contribute to the overall marketing department mission while maintaining a positive image for the company and subsidiaries.Other key duties : Analysis of existing social channels (paid, earned and owned) as well as tools (Khoros), social channels—and make recommendations. Assess feeds and develop engagement approach (likes, links etc.)Potential responsibilities could include content writing / generation for social channelsCollaborates with agency partners to develop social media content strategy and planMaintains and reviews company social media accountsDevelop robust reporting for Khoros and Cision toolsMake recommendations for additional brand social channelsAdditional responsibilities include testing support for overall multimedia marketing effortsSupport in maintaining social content calendar (organic, paid, influencer, partnerships)Experience / Experience : High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.The salary range is : $16.00 - $24.00 per hourThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
