Software engineer Jobs in Longmont, CO

A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Cleared Software Engineer to join their team in Longmont CO!

This position will be a 4x10 schedule and hybrid with 2 days on site in Longmont and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the Ground Solution. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Candidate will be experienced in C++, Qt framework (GUI), pub / sub messaging, PostgreSQL, Linux environments, Ansible Scripting, Agile Methodologies and the full software development cycle. Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI / CD pipeline, distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded applications is a plus. Proficient in Java.

Required / preferred technical skills :

• Proficient in Java primarily, C++ may also be valuable.
• Top technical requirements they are looking for : functional programming, debugging, collaborating and software testing.

You must have an active Top Secret Clearance!

Looking for the following levels :

E3 candidates with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience,

E2 with an advanced degree and 12+ years experience or bachelors with 14+ years experience
