Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Longmont, CO, starting ASAP through April 24, 2026. This contract assignment focuses on providing Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services with a caseload of 9 to 11 students, alongside managing two preschool classrooms of approximately 18 students each.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to preschool ECSE learners
- Manage and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) following Colorado standards
- Provide support and instruction in AM and PM preschool classrooms
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain compliance with Colorado IEP documentation and procedures
