Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC grinding and machining equipment according to work instructions and production requirements. Inspect machined parts throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring instruments to verify quality and dimensional accuracy. Make minor program edits, machine offsets, and adjustments to maintain product quality and process consistency. Set up and utilize gauge heads and other inspection equipment for high-tolerance applications. Adjust machine settings to ensure precision, repeatability, and efficient production. Dress grinding wheels and replace diamonds as required. Deburr finished components and prepare parts for the next stage of production. Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine upkeep. Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience setting up CNC machines and making minor program adjustments required. Proficient in using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators. Experience using pneumatic and manual hand tools. Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel. Experience working with tight tolerances and precision machining preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM Training Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM for approximately 90 days Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hour + 7.5% shift differential upon transition to 2nd shift #ISS
