Job Summary

Location : Detroit, MI

DTE Vantage, a subsidiary of DTE Energy, is seeking ambitious, energetic, quantitatively adept individuals with an interest in high visibility roles in finance and strategy for its Summer Associate Program.

A strong candidate possesses a broad range of financial and commercial skills, can manage the details of complex transactions, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment in rapidly evolving markets.

The Program

The Summer Associate Program provides first year MBA or similar advanced degree candidates the opportunity to experience working within multi-disciplinary teams formed to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and execute energy-related transactions and strategies.

Key Accountabilities

• Identifying and screening potential acquisitions
• Conducting valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration for an acquisition
• Developing and negotiating the pricing and structure for development projects
• Evaluating investments in new renewable energy technologies
• Developing a marketing plan to grow an existing business line
• Researching and assessing industry competitors

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Currently pursuing an MBA or other advanced degree in a related field, from a top-tier school
