Position Overview :

The Vice President (VP) of Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance customer service, operational efficiency, productivity, and overall supply chain performance. This leadership role will oversee and drive the performance of procurement, demand planning, import / export management, and supply chain operations. The VP of Supply Chain will use past performance data to forecast business needs and establish functional strategies, objectives, and policies that create a resilient, agile, and cost-effective supply chain aligned with the company's long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Supply Chain Management :

• Define and implement a best-in-class supply chain strategy that aligns with company growth objectives and adapts to market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Continuously review and update supply chain practices to ensure compliance with evolving environmental policies, standards, regulations, and safety requirements, including documentation, labeling, and other legal obligations for imported goods.
• Oversee the procurement, import, and compliance processes for hard goods, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety standards, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.
• Ensure that the supply chain team maintains strong compliance with safety standards, labeling requirements, and import-export regulations for goods coming across the US-Mexico border and other international routes.
• Lead the coordination and compliance of cross-border operations, with a strong emphasis on the challenges and requirements associated with crossing the US-Mexico border.
