Job descriptionMonitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff. Perform root cause analysis of system failures and recommend corrective actions. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT assets. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Ensure systems comply with regulatory and organizational standards. Lead or participate in IT projects to enhance or upgrade systems. Coordinate with vendors and external partners for system procurement and support. Manage multiple project timelines and competing priorities Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Prepare and present reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements. Other projects as needed Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus. 5+ years as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role . Proficiency with Windows Server technologies (e.g., Active Directory, File / Print services). Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure) and related technologies. Experience with patch management solutions and best practices Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
