Meet the Team

The Cisco SD-WAN Cloud Team is dedicated to building, deploying, and managing the entire SD-WAN cloud infrastructure for enterprises and service providers. As SD-WAN continues to expand, our team is growing to cover all aspects of this critical technology. We collaborate across multiple cloud platforms and teams, including an outsourced operations team, to deliver robust solutions.

Your Impact

As a Cloud Engineer, you will have a significant impact on the orchestration and management of Cisco's SD-WAN cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve :

  • Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
  • Addressing and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborating with team members to incorporate and share innovations.
  • Enhancing product lifecycle and features in an agile development environment.
  • Ensuring high standards of quality in challenging production situations.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, technical / customer support roles.
  • Expertise in web applications / services and public cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with VMware and OpenStack.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Node.js.
  • Background in Linux / Unix administration.
  • Strong team-building skills with cross-department collaboration.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
