Seeking a structural engineer ( E.I.T. or P.E.) to join our expanding professional telecom services team. Prefer candidate reside in the greater Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta, New York City, or Philadelphia area. Candidates with 0-4 years of experience are encouraged to apply. PRIMARY PURPOSE : To perform structural and civil engineering for wireless telecommunication infrastructure. To perform structural analysis and design of structures supporting telecommunication equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs structural analysis of towers, mounts and platforms, and water tanks and buildings for the addition and alteration of wireless telecommunication antennas and other equipment.
• Develops and reviews full construction drawing sets which include civil, structural, and electrical sheets working with drafters and other colleagues.
• Designs steel and fiberglass-reinforced plastic frames and platforms, tower and building upgrades, antenna support structures, tower and platform foundations
• Visits wireless communication sites on a weekly basis to collect field data, which will be used to prepare structural analysis reports and construction drawings.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $88,000 - $120,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
