We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Drafter / Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD Drafting, with extensive experience in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of electromechanical systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a thorough understanding of ASME Y14 standards, and familiarity with AS9100 aerospace quality management systems.
Responsibilities :
- Create detailed CAD designs and technical drawings for aerospace products, adhering to project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize design performance.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME Y14 standards and AS9100 quality management requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality and efficiency.
- Generate accurate technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support product development from concept to production.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on design progress and addressing any technical challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in CAD technology, and regulatory requirements relevant to aerospace design.
- Incorporate changes, As Built as per redline markup.
- Assist designers in the preparation of submittal packages and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of material lists, specifications, and documentation for project.
- Develop skills over time and work towards becoming a specialized designer.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
