Compensation : 42,000 - $48,000
Responsibilities :
- Partner with hiring managers to gain insight into their hiring needs and create detailed job descriptions and criteria
- Utilize a range of recruitment methods to locate and attract competent applicants, such as job boards, social media, industry events, and specialized resources
- Analyze resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and partake in phone and face-to-face interviews to check candidates' qualifications and fit with the organization's culture
- Manage and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and help in the assessment and choice process
- Undertake comprehensive references and background checks on possible applicants
- Administer the applicant tracking system and track accurate and up-to-date candidate documents
- Team up with the HR team to devise and put into practice recruitment plans, such as employer branding tactics and talent acquisition programs
- Take part in career fairs, sector conferences, and other recruitment activities to promote Sugar Creek Transportation as an employer of choice
- Stay abreast of industry trends, recruiting best practices, and legal regulations to maintain compliance and optimize recruitment plans
- Provide regular updates and progress on recruitment activities to management
