Build and Maintain the Machines That Build Infrastructure
Start at $34/hour while keeping our plant fleet, rolling stock, and heavy equipment running at peak performance.
A Day in the Life
You open the shop, check work orders, and prioritize preventive maintenance across gas and diesel vehicles—from light trucks to heavy equipment. You change oil and filters, grease components, and swap out wear parts on schedule. When a unit flags a fault, you pull the schematic, consult the service manual and parts list, and dive into diagnostics—mechanical, electrical, and diesel engine systems alike, including emissions and regeneration systems.
Mid-shift, you operate the fuel/lube truck to service equipment on site. Back in the shop, you replace lube fittings and tires using air and hand tools, complete minor repairs, and weld or fabricate components essential to production. Throughout, you work safely, keep your area clean, and take the initiative to get things done—right down to topping off battery, power steering, and washer fluids and replacing all caps.
