TranSource Truck & Equipment is currently accepting applications for a warehouse person for our Sioux Falls location.

SUMMARY : Helps pick parts for our truck and equipment shops for the dealership and helps in warehouse. This person should have previous warehouse experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.

Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.

Unloads truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.

Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major and / or repairs and maintenance.

Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.

Operate forklift to load / unload product when required.

Assist with shipping / receiving / warehouse responsibilities when not delivering.

Receives freight when it arrives to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.

Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts, spot checks, etc.

Learns and updates multiple computer programs to maintain inventory tracking and communication.

Maintains professional appearance.

Regular, daily attendance is essential to success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work hours will be Monday - Friday with a Saturday every 6-7 weeks.

Pay $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires lifting / carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 130 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push / pull a force up to 120 lbs. during the normal course of the workday. Must be able to climb up and down steps to reach for, pull out and carry parts from warehouse shelving.

Requires standing, bending, stretching, stooping, crouching, reaching and manipulating a computer keyboard, heavy lifting. Requires the use of both hands.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
