A successful WE manager will be managing the HR function for Malaysia and Singapore offices. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant work culture, ensuring smooth HR operations, and driving initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.
The WE manager will report to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Manage employee records and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Administer employee benefits, leave management, and workplace policies.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting, candidate sourcing, and shortlisting to interview coordination and selection.
Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Work closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
Develop, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with employment laws and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Recommend and implement improvements to HR policies and processes.
Performance Management & Career Development
Administer the performance management framework, including goal-setting, mid-year check-ins, and annual performance reviews.
Support career development initiatives by facilitating training programs and development plans.
Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Organize and participate in company events, team-building activities, and wellness programs to foster a positive work culture.
Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
Requirements :
3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a multi-country setting.
Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia labor laws and employment regulations.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
Independent and self-driven, yet able to collaborate effectively in a team.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HR systems, with experience in Employment Hero as an advantage.
Self-motivated with a growth mindset, eager to learn and contribute to the company’s success.
Prior experience managing employee engagement initiatives is a plus.
Familiarity with Google Suite, Productive, Keynote, and Microsoft Office.
