Scope : Perform all radiological procedures as requested and as needed. Provides patient care and insures patient safety from radiation hazards. Reports To : Department Supervisor and Physicians Duties and Responsibilities : Assures all physician requests for services are rendered in a timely and professional manner. Assists in quality assurance monitoring. Assures all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies. Cleans equipment after each patient Obtains prior mammogram films from outside facilities for comparison Makes sure that all necessary information is recorded properly. Answers all telephone calls Assists receptionist by scheduling patients for x-ray procedures and gives special instructions to patients as needed. Maintains annual compliance education. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and physicians. Regular and reliable attendance. Presents to work on time as scheduled. Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist preferred. Virginia license Certificates, Licenses, Registration : Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist preferred. CPR certification Job Type : Full-time Powered by JazzHR
