Job descriptionMinimum High School diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources Strong verbal and written communication Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while communicating clearly and compassionately with youth, families, and professionals across diverse settings. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus. Proficiency in Motivational interviewing is a plus. Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage. Summary of the Position : Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Floyd and Clark County are available.
- Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth and adults in the community, school, and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned youth and adult participants.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
- This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
