Job description

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute peer-to-peer fundraising strategies with targeted email and phone outreach
  • Focus outreach on top fundraisers and high-potential participants
  • Equip fundraisers with tools and resources to expand personal networks and increase donations
  • Develop peer recruitment strategies
  • Coach and support fundraising participants on registration, donation processing, campaign best practices, and peer-to-peer platform management
  • Troubleshoot participant issues
  • Provide concierge service to top fundraisers
  • Lead engagement and coaching for virtual head-shaving participants and Teams for St. Baldrick’s participants
  • Provide participant recognition and ongoing support, including collateral and communications
  • Manage assigned Foundation email domains and respond to participant inquiries within two business days unless otherwise approved
  • Track, analyze, and share participant registration and fundraising data
  • Collaborate with colleagues on participant stewardship and concierge services
  • Develop content and draft monthly fundraising tips email copy with the communications team
  • Manage data for email distribution
  • Develop and implement recognition and stewardship strategies for team captains, new participants, top fundraisers, and League of Legendary Heroes members
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with high-impact peer-to-peer participants
  • Connect participants to relevant staff and organizational opportunities
  • Determine strategic outreach plans with the supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience in volunteer management or customer service preferred
  • Fundraising and volunteer experience desired
  • Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maturity, professionalism, good judgment, diplomacy, and tact
  • Commitment to the foundation’s mission
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including public speaking
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work overtime may be required
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Light lifting ability, under 25 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to work at a desk using a computer and phone most of the day for periods of up to 2-4 hours at a time
  • Resume submission required
  • Candidates working out of state may apply if they have experience working fully remote
